OURSTORY

Thrive Church Honesdale was started in 2020 as an extension campus of Peckville Assembly of God. Pastor Tyler has a passion to serve the people of Honesdale and Wayne County by creating a place for people to connect with one another while encountering the life changing power of Jesus Christ.

Our very first services were held the week of Christmas 2020. A young woman struggling with addiction found herself at one of these services. A week later, Pastor Tyler received a video message from this woman thanking him for opening the doors of the church because she encountered Jesus that night. She has been clean from drugs ever since, her family has been restored and her life was changed forever. It was this woman’s story that sparked the vision that had been burning in the heart of Pastor Tyler to reach the people of Honesdale.
